Die casting Dies caonsist of two major sections: the ejector die half and the cover pass away half. And the perish cavities and cores are usually machined into inserts that are fitted into each of these halves. The cover die half is secured to the stationary platen, while the ejector die half is fastened to the movable platen. The cavity and matching core must be designed so that the die moulds can be pulled away from the solidified casting.
And typically a die casting dies ( moulds ) includes below components: ejector hooks, ejector plates, ejector come back pins, base support, Guideline pillar, die insert waterway, die inserts, fixed cores, moving core, moving core holds, angle pin, primary locking wedge, cascade water, plunger bush, guide shrubbery and etc.

The mould are created by PRO/ENGINEER, SOLIDWORKS, UNIGRAPHICS and simulation analysis software to be sure the quality and high efficiency before tooling machining. Mould tooth cavity and frame will be machined by modern tools such as CNC machining center, EDM machines and EDM wire cutting machines.
